Lot description: VERY RARE!! A limited edition box set of three books about Roky Erickson by Jack Ortman: "The Roky Erickson Story", "Roky II: The Sequel" and "Roky III: Son of the Sequel".   This set is housed in a box with a plastic sleeve on top, and in that sleeve is a paper with a pyramid and all-seeing eye. Signed on that paper are SIX autographs including Roky Erickson and members of his bands including Tommy Hall (13th Floor Elevators), John Ike Walton (13th Floor Elevators), Ronnie Leatherman (13th Floor Elevators), Rayward Powell St. John (song writer for 13th Floor Elevators) and Billy Bill Miller (The Aliens). Hand written by the author Jack Ortman and initialed by him is the edition number 3 of 25 and 1st Edition. The sets that have sold referenced online have had 4 or 5 autographs. This has SIX!!   The box has slight water damage on one edge, Roky II has a small amount of staining toward the back of the book and a pamphlet also shows water damage. The color front page is stuck to the cardboard page behind it. I do not know if that is normal for this set, but I am bound to give an accurate description. All of the books are spiral bound with the titles hand written on the plastic binding. The set title is also hand written on the outside of the box.
