Canadian. 1940s. Single-sided tin (SST). The sign features a "cloud" shape also known as a "scalloped" design with KIK within. This design dates to the early to mid 1950s. It reflects a post-WWII trend towards minimalism. The brand was intended to look more modern and less old-fashioned. As well, fewer colors were significantly cheaper and faster to mass-produce as the brand expanded across Canada. Unmarked. Authenticated by The Authentication Company (TAC #501363). All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions. From the late Marcel Gallays Collection.
