France. 1950s. Single-sided tin (SST). Zig-Zag cigarette papers were named for the "Z" shape of the tobacco leaves, which were folded in two and interleaved (alternately placed between one another) as they went through the processing phase, giving a "zig-zag" appearance. Marked "Made in France" at lower center edge. Authenticated by The Authentication Company (TAC #501340). All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions. Grade: 7.5. All original condition. Surface shows fading, particularly to script and lower quarter. Some in-service overpaint to right edge. Requires thermometer.
