Zig Zag cigarette papers were named for the "Z" shape of the tobacco leaves, which were folded in two and interleaved (alternately placed between one another) as they went through the processing phase. Grade: 9. Untouched original condition. Good colour. Oxidation with pitting to non-lithographed surfaces. There are 3 dabs of overpaint most noticeably on image. Surface scratches with paint loss. Minor staining. In-use price update (10c to 11c) has been applied.
