Vintage Sterling Firefly/Bug Earrings, Green Bead, Signed S.G., Pierced. This is signed sterling S.G. which is believed to be Navajo silversmith Steeve Grant. It has the look of an older peice - perhaps the 1960's. Steeve grant is out of New Mexico but not sure of his age, etc., and therefore not sure if this is a piece that is truly his. It does match the maker's mark. The but has two wings and a torso with a green agate that is appx. 6mm round. The length of the earrings are appx. .1.5" from the curve in the hook post and the width at the widest point is appx. 1". They do test as sterling with an appx. weight of 6.25 grams. The earrings are signed on the inside of one of the earrings. They do have oxidaton that can be cleaned away. These are in very good condition otherwise and very unique.
