Vintage Sterling Green & Yellow Scrolled Bead Necklace, 18.5". The bead is appx. 1-1/8" long and 9.5mm thick. It is a barrell or tubular bead with green as the background color with yellow scrolled with dark dotted accents throughout. The bead has a somewhat hand-made rustic design. It is a kelly green color which on the edges where it is cut irregularly, you can see the glossy glassy look but on the surface it is a matte finish. These remind me of tribal trade beads but just not sure. The chain is sterling and .8mm round snake chain with lobster clasp. It is marked .925 and Italy. The chain is appx. 18.5" long. Weight of the chain is appx. 2.30 gr. The bead is likely pre 1980 but the chain is appx. 1980 or after. Good to very good condition. Not signed by the maker. (W7922.2X2 SS7870 J LD 7/22/22).
