Vintage Sterling Thimble, Sz. 9, Pre Mid-Century. This is signed with an M and a D and possibly a K in the middle - it is on the underside of the top of the thimble. It is marked sterling as well and tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 5.22 grams. It has a wide polished band on the bottom with engraed scrolled designs around the band and that is where it is marked 9 for the size. Slightly out-of-round from wear but otherwise very good vintage condition. Age is estimated early 1900's. (W11825.1X3 SS16945 J LD 10/25/25).
