Vintage Ammonite Pendant on Sterling Omega Necklace, Pierced Earrings, 1980's, 17". the chain is an appx. 1.5mm omega link with lobster clasp. The necklace is marked sterling and tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 8.85 grams. The ammonites are set in silver tone frames with swing bails and hook posts - they are not sterlnig. The pendant is appx. 1-7/8" long and appx. 1.25" wide with the earrings being appx. 1.5" from the bend in the hook post and 3/4" wide. Ammonites are extinct, coiled-shelled cephalopods comprising the subclass Ammonoidea. They are more closely related to living octopuses, squid, and cuttlefish than they are to nautiluses Very good condition. Not marked or signed. (W112.19.1X6 SS16345 J LD 7/29/25).
