Vintage Sterling Thimble, Sz. 9, Signed, 1930's-1950's or earlier. this is signed on the inside top of the thimble - it is a Star maker's mark with the word sterling and 9 for the size. It has a flared band at the base with scrolls and and wavy scrolls above that with a clear band. This tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 2.48 grams. It has some typical wear at the base where the shape is not perfectly round as it is when it is new. It is still in good condition and a great piece to add to a collection.
