Vintage Green/Peacock Mixed Rhinestone Brooch, 1950's-1960's. Aurora Borealis, This does not have a pinback - nor can I see where one would have been on this. A pinback could be soldered to the back. It is a stunning piece - I am not sure how it was used other than a sew-on embelishment. I cannot see any evidence of any pinback having been attached or any missing pieces. I feel it had to be a brooch but evening comparing to near matches - I do not see evidence of it having one. There are four domed sabrina-ish stones with clear and green and appx. 14mm by 7mm. The pear-shaped stones are green/brown givre stones are appx. 15mm by 20mm with the peacock round aurora borealis stones are appx. 4.5mm. Silver tone with raised and lower areas - like branches of peacock rhinestones coming out around blossoms. Very good condition and it is not marked or signed. The stones are all glass and prong-set with being grometed to the setting. (W92318.1X5 SS16279 J LD 7/19/25).
