Sterling Navajo Onyx Cuff Bracelet, 6.5" Signed D. Livingstone, 1980's-1990's. This has fifteen onyx stones set raised in a sawtooth bezel setting over the top of the cuff. It is appx. 6.5mm width. This is meant for a more slender wrist. It would be very hard to open and squeeze closed and could damage the sterling so best to have the smaller wrist for this piece. It is signed D. Livingston who is a Navajo artist who learned the craft from his father and started making jewelry as a teen and began full time in the 1970's and it is my understanding, continues to this day. It does test as sterling with an appx. weight of 20.49 grams. This is in very good condition except that a stone was missing and I took it to a local jeweler to replace and t a good job was not done - an onyx that was slightly smaller was put in the sawtooth bezel and it is not a uniform closure around the stone as can be seen in the photos. This can be worn as is or your jeweler can fix it. I did see this bracelet in turquoise selling for $175. The price is adjusted to account for the stone as described above.
