Vintage Sterling Southwestern Turquoise Bear Paw Earrings, Drop Feathers, On Card, 1970's-1980's. The stud is a shadow box style bear paw with cut-out claws and a snakeeye turquoise stone set in the open center. The earrings are appx. 2.25" long with the paw being appx. 3/4" tall and slightly over 1/2" wide. Thre are two feathers - one larger than the other - that are appx. 1.5" and slightly over 1.25". They came on a black card "A Southwest Collectible" and marked "Genuine Indian handcrafted Sterling Silver." The clutch is marked .925. They test as sterling with an appx. weight of 7.35 grams. Light oxidation but otherwise excellent condition. The card has been a kept a long time and is bent at the bottom. These came from the estate of a Pa. woman who had a large southwestern/Navajo and some Zuni pieces from her and her husband's travels - and ties - to the west. (SY25.12 SS16295 J LD 7/21/25)
