Vintage Sterling Marcasite Amethyst Bypass Ring , Sz. 8.25. SIgned what looks lilke RAS. Marked .925 tested, weight is appx. 3.43 gr. The ring is 24.5mm down the finger with two curve rows of marcasites that are set in a bypass design around the 6mm oval bezel-set amethyst that sits higher in the center. The ring is appx. 13mm across the finger. The band is appx. 1.2mm at top and tapers slightly wider to 2mm at the back of the finger. The ring has an appx. 2mm frame around the sides that sit on the finger. All marcasites are present and original. In very good condition other than the oxidation that can be cleaned if desired but also perfect to where as is. Age is estimated at 1980's. (W.91121.1X1 SS7200 J LD 5/9/22).
