Vintage Sterling Marcasite & Onyx Ring. Sz. 8, Over 3 CTW. Chunky ring, marked .925, tested and signed TH. Weight of the ring is appx. 8.78 gr. It is appx. 24mm down the finger and 16mm across the finger with a slight cut-in at the center across the finger at the center of the stone that is appx. 3.15 ctw and has an appx 4mm by 2.5mm onyx baguette on each side that is set with a bezel on each end. The center stone is set with four prongs. The center stone sits higher with the baguettes slightly lower. Cut-out work on the rest of the ring with marasites set throughout. The band is appx. 4.5mm at top and tapers down to appx. 3mm at the back of the finger. The band is appx. 1mm thick. The undercarriage of the ring has a tapered bridged design with open areas as well ranging from 3mm high at the ends to 5.5mm at the sides where it is the widest. Very good condition Marcasites all present and original. Typical vintage oxidation that can be polished but fine as is. (W.91121.1X4 SS7188 LD 5/9/22).
