Vintage Sterling Diamond Ring, Men's, Sz. 15.5, 1950's-1960's. It is 13mm down the finger and crosses over appx. 13.8mm over the finger wher it meets a wide raised triple ridge band that is appx. 12mm on top and tapers to a smooth rounded band at the back of the finger down to appx. 3.5mm wide. The ring tests as sterlnig with a weight of appx. 11.43 grams. There are sixteen diamonds set in four rows on top with raised prong-let accents around the diamonds. There is a recessed frame arund the top of the ring that has twenty-six diamons set in it - there is one diamond missing - it would have twenty-seven in total if that one was not missing. I do not have a diamond that small to place in that positiono. I don't have a small cz or rhinestone either. It should be easy for a local jewelry to repair. It has a glitzy signet theme with the top that is only very slightly domed. The top of the ring is appx. 4.5mm thick. This ring was worn by the original owner but is a sturdy ring that will benefit from beng cleaned and I have in fact gently cleaned it post photo to enhance the look. It has an open grid back that did have some deposits that I really felt needed to be removed. It has totally enhanced the look - it is a stellar ring. Good to very good condition - just some typical wear. It is not signed by the maker. Prior to cleanin the ring didn't even look like it had diamonds - in the outer frame - it was dusty. Prior to cleaning the weight was over 13 grams. The residue in the undercarriage accounted for much of the difference in the weight. I mildly cleaned it and it looks much better than the photos - a pro cleaning would bring it totally back to close to new. (WPS 71525.5X SS16550 J LD 9/4/25)
