Vintage 14kt Dark Blue Sapphire Heart & Diamond Ring, Sz. 8. The stone is so dark it looks black. It does test as sapphire. It is appx. 4.5mm wide and appx. 5mm tall. Testing done in the setting. there is a 1mm diamond set over the heart. The sapphire is set higher than the heart frame around the stone. The top of the ring is appx. 8.6mm down the finger and 8.4mm across the finger with a bridged side to the setting lower than the heart frame. The band is appx. 1mm at the very top and tapers wider to appx. 1.5mm at the back of the finger. The ring is marked 14kt and tested. Weight is appx. 1.83 gr. Thre is a stamped maker's mark which is unknown . It is a shield shape with markings inside the shield. Very good condition. Age is appx. 1970's-1980's. (W6422.8X3 SS7568 J LD 6/16/22).
