Vintage Sterling Hematite Ring, Sz 6.5, Signed with a V on a diamond frame. Marked sterling and tested. Weight is appx. 4.78 gr. This has a long hamatite pointed navette that is appx. 26mm by 8mm, prong set with a bezel frame around the bottom of the stone with open back. The band has textured and smooth finish in curved leaf-like accents and is appx. 8.4mm wide with a little open area up against the stone. The band then tapers into a single band that is appx. 2.5mm around the finger. The back part of the band has some wear and is duller than the rest. That can be polished. It does test as sterling. The ring had an anti-tarnish treatment which has the upper band and setting bright and shiny but is worn off the back of the band but still a very nice ring. Age is appx. 1960's-1970's.
