Oval opal that is appx. 7.5mm by 5.5mm. Four prongs. There is a chip at the one prong but stone is still stable. this has a bypass style tiered band at the top where it crosses over the finger and up to the opal. There is a center raised part that comes up on a prong on each side and a lower wide, flatter part to the band. It is 3.5mm wide at the top of the band and tapers to appx. 1.4mm at the back of the finger. the top 1/3" of the band has the raised design, the rest of the band around the finger is smooth. It is marked 10kt and tested (weight is appx. 2.33gr) and signed Kimberly. Kimberly is a company that started in appx. 1985 in Ohio (I believe). The ring is appx. 8mm down the finger at the center of the opal and 6.5mm at the prongs across the finger. Unfortunately it does have the chip at the prong which is appx. 1.3mm wide. It is hard to see without magnification but it is there. Otherwise it is in very good condition. (W6422.8X2 AZ LEB* Ld 6/20/22).
