A pair of rare vintage Cartier 18k gold earrings with clip-on closure.
The earrings have an amazing intricate texture. Two layers of the gold “pins” and “buttons” are sitting on different levels. There is a flower-like looking pattern in the middle. Because of the irregular shape of the “buttons”, the light makes the earrings sparkle. This design was achieved by using a gold casting technique.
The earrings are shell shape and sit great on an earlobe.
These vintage earrings by Cartier are made of 18 karat yellow gold.
Measurements: 7/8” x ¾” x 5/8" (2.3 x 1.8 x 1.5 centimeters).
Weight: 26.0 grams.
Stamped with Cartier maker's mark, hallmark for 18 karat gold, country of manufacture, serial number, workshop hallmark.
The earrings are clip-on; posts can be added.
