A highly collectable early 18th century straight sided silver tankard and cover designed with an elegant tapering form and a sophisticated looking strap work band (girdle) to the lower section of the body. The tankard sits on a pleasant skirt foot and has contemporary hand engraved entwined initials for presentation.
