Description

Gilt bronze, size 7 ½ of hefty proportions with 3.0mm rounded band flaring to the shoulders. Oval bezel incised with a cross in four detached elements, with crescents above and below. Dating about 1000-1200 and of the form and proportions of Viking warrior rings, suggesting that the owner was Norse, after the conversions to Christianity. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
