Description

Viking bronze ring from a small group purchased in London from a Victorian collection identifying it as found in Ireland. Size 11. 8.2mm width. Low rounded face. As found condition with fine patina. Cleaned and sealed with a clearcoat for modern wear. Viking raiders menaced Ireland, taking slaves and treasure for two centuries until they were defeated in 1014 at the Battle of Clontarf. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
