Late 19th Century/Early 20th Century. Each gilt lacquered openwork goose form boxes made from metal, papier mache and wood, inlaid with red glass cabochons and small clear or sea green mirrored glass tiles, the larger box 9.25"h x 11"w x 7"d, the smaller box 6"h x 9.5"w x 5.75"w; en suite with an associated circular stand 9"h x 8"w. Condition: both boxes with scattered losses and bent metal wings, missing glass tiles, wear to gilt surface.
