Description: Taride North east road map of Paris and its surrounding within 50 miles ( 80kilometres ) at 1/100 000 scale from the early 20th . Those maps were to be used by the generale population to circulate with bikes , cars and trains . Carte d'etat major ( ordnance map ) were created by the War ministry and other ministry to create a topographical record during the 19th and early 20th century following the " age of reason " approach to society. Taride In 1895 helped by the consular staff of the Union velocipédique de France and road transport agents, engineers and drivers of bridges and roads, published its first black and white maps on a scale of 1/250,000, called velocipedic maps. It completes its editions with guides to Paris, road and tourist guides to France, maps of the Paris metro.
The Monrocq printing company is participating in the movement to centralize card production. In fact, this was distributed, until the end of the Second Empire, between medium-sized printers, often provincial. She worked, among others, for Hachette and, until the 1960s, for Taride.This map was included in a large books of french map of Paris and its surronding , some of the map are dated from 1923 while other are from the early 1900.
