This one is an homage to spring ,the lyre birds , possibly about a poem from Jacque Prevert , edited by Robert Four, Musique de chambre , ( chamber music ).Those tapestry placed on wall to bring an organic feel to a mid century interior answered the need to add some warmth to an otherwise cold mass produced style of furnishing so prevalent in the 1950's and 1960'.The lyrebird is a symbol of poetry, song, auditory skills, a love of language and poetic inspiration in all of us.
