1) Unmarked microscope, presumably France, c. 1880, green-and-gold-painted cast-metal square base with pair of tubular pillars, double mirror, substage pinhole disc, reflected-light magnifier, rack-and-pinion adjustment, height 10 1/5 in. – 2) Unmarked microscope, c. 1895, English base, double mirror, round stage, coarse and fine adjustment, height 11 ¾ in. – 3) American microscope, c. 1920, marked "Spencer Microscope ALOE Co. Sales Agents No 72262" on the base, below the mechanical table are the Abbe condenser, the iris diaphragm and a mirror, the tube with triple objective revolver is moved via a rack and pinion, fine focusing is achieved via a micrometer screw, height 13 in. – And: 4) Spectroscope by Schmidt & Haensch, c. 1900, signed: "Franz Schmidt & Haensch, Berlin", no. 5299, original lacquered and blackened brass, length 22 in., on heavy iron tripod. – In addition: 2 small microscopes and 2 magnifiers.

1) Unbezeichnetes Mikroskop, vermutlich Frankreich, um 1880, grün und goldfarben lackierter quadratischer Fuß aus Gußmetall, 2 Säulen, Doppelspiegel, Lochblendenscheibe unter dem Tisch, Auflichtlupe, Einstellung mit Zahnstangentrieb, Höhe 26 cm. – 2) Unbezeichnetes Mikroskop, um 1895, englischer Fuß, Doppelspiegel, runder Tisch, Grob- und Feineinstellung, Höhe 30 cm. – 3) Amerikanisches Mikroskop, um 1920, am Fuß bezeichnet "Spencer Microscope ALOE Co. Sales Agents No 72262". Unterhalb des mechanischen Tisches befinden sich der Abbe-Kondensor, die Irisblende und ein Spiegel. Der Tubus mit Dreifach-Objektivrevolver wird über eine Zahnstange bewegt, die Feinfokussierung erfolgt über eine Mikrometerschraube, Höhe 33 cm. – Und: 4) Spektroskop von Schmidt & Haensch, um 1900, signiert: "Franz Schmidt & Haensch, Berlin", Nr. 5299, original zaponiertes und schwarz lackiertes Messing, Länge 56 cm, auf schwerem Eisendreifuß. – Dabei: 2 kleine Mikroskope und 2 Lupen.
