A very rare illustrated edition of the New Testament; we locate no copies on Copac or Worldcat.
It contains a revised French Louvain translation, which served as the principal French Catholic Bible of the post-Tridentine era.
Vellum soiled, front gutter pulled.
Title soiled and chipped (nearly detached),
some minor light and faded water-staining near front and back,
leaf 3F4 chipped with loss of two lines at foot and small section of woodcut,
a few other small marginal chips,
some occasional light foxing or similar minor blemishes.
