GENESIS 48:6 - Exodus 3:7

Genesis 48:6 says, "And the children that you fathered after them shall be yours. They shall be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance".
In this verse, Jacob blesses Joseph's sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, and formally adopts them as his own:
Blessing
Jacob blesses the boys, saying, "May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh".
Adoption
Jacob formally adopts Ephraim and Manasseh as his own sons.
Inheritance
Jacob says that any children born after Ephraim and Manasseh will be his, and they will inherit land in the territories of their brothers.
Names
The children born after Ephraim and Manasseh will be called by the names of their brothers in their inheritance.
Jacob's blessing of Ephraim over Manasseh illustrates a divine principle that God blesses us apart from any merit on our part.
Exodus 3:7
Here, the Lord's statement speaks of the suffering of the Jewish people in Egypt. Symbolically, God say that He sees, hears, and knows of the plight of Israel. God clearly states that He has "seen" the suffering of those He calls "my people." Second, he has "heard" their cry.
