Jack Fellows, Strike of the Aztec Eagles, limited edition World War II aviation print on paper, numbered 39 of 300. This historically significant work honors the 201st Fighter Squadron of the Mexican Expeditionary Air Forcethe Aztec Eaglesdepicting their P-47 Thunderbolts in action during the liberation of the Philippines in 1945. The print is pencil signed by several Mexican WWII combat veterans, including Generals Carlos Garduno Nunez and Angel Sanchez Rabello, who flew missions as part of the allied effort in the Pacific Theater. Presented under glass in a silver tone metal frame, the piece includes accompanying documentation, photographs of the veteran signers, and a Certificate of Authenticity. The verso retains the original gallery framing label. Sight size approximately 23.5 inches x 27.25 inches.

Dimensions: 31.75 X 35.5 X .75 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Frame exhibits storage wear to edges and corners. Has not been examined outside of the frame.
