About the artist: He graduated from school in 1927. Since 1928 he painted glass products in the Drevelektro art artel, and after it was closed in 1930, he got a job at a car repair plant.
Since 1932 he was engaged in painting by the artist Konstantin Yuon.
From 1934 to 1938 he studied at the Art and Pedagogical School named after 1905 with Nikolai Krymov, A. Chirkov, K. Morozov, George Ryazhsky, after which he worked in high school.
In 1939, he volunteered for the front in the war with the Finns, then he served in the regular army.
In 1941, as part of his military unit, he was sent to the active army of the Western Front. He finished the war as part of the 4th Tank Army. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War and medals for military merits, for the defense of the Caucasus, for the liberation of Prague, for the capture of Berlin, for the victory over Germany.
In November 1945 he was demobilized and returned to classes with Konstantin Yuon.
In 1946 he joined the Moscow City Committee of Artists, in 1950 - into the Moscow Association of Artists.
Since 1953, a candidate member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, and since 1957, his member [1].
