Mid-Century Italian Modern "mela" ("apple" in English) ice bucket by Ettore Sottsass for Rinnovel (1953, Italy).
Composed of silver anodized aluminum with a rose-gold tinted interior and brass-color stem, which serves as the handle for removing the top.
Aluminum has been newly polished but shows wear (scuffs, and some patches of oxidation/discoloration, as shown). Overall, good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
Early "Rinnovel" brand present (this is not a later edition).
