Description

Pair of 1960s round decorative dishes/hors d'oeuvre plates/ashtrays by Couroc of Monterey, California with inlaid yellow-breasted birds on branches (potentially yellow-breasted chats).
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant plastic) with inlaid wood, shell, stone, pigment and brass accents.
Very good, vintage condition with light scuffs, as shown (mainly visible in direct sunlight).
Retains the Couroc manufacturer's foil label.
