Florentine gilt-wood hinged jewelry box with hand-painted detail (ca. 1970s, Italy manufactured for the US retail market). Opens to reveal unlined storage ideal for for jewelry / trinkets.
Attractive color combination with off-white diamond motif with gilt floral decoration accompanied by olive green and light pink accents.
Good, vintage condition with light wear / patina present to the gilt.
Retains the "Fortunoff's" retailer tag where the box was originally sold.
