Architect, fashion designer, entrepreneur who was founder and CEO of Off-White. After launching several fashion lines for various companies, he became artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton in 2018. His first show was a collection inspired by the 1939 musical "The Wizard of Oz," with the group of diverse models walking a rainbow runway. In July of 2021 Abloh took on a more significant role with LVMH, to "leverage together the group's expertise to launch new brands and partner with existing ones in a variety of sectors beyond the realm of fashion." At the time of Abloh's death, Bernard Arnault, chairman and chief executive of LVMH, stated that Abloh was a "genius designer, a visionary, he was also a man with a beautiful soul and great wisdom".
