The group includes one Series 1935 A (Friedberg F-1608), one Series 1935 C (Friedberg F-1610), and two Series 1935 D (Friedberg F-1612). All notes feature the George Washington / Great Seal design type with blue treasury seals and blue serial numbers. Signatures include Treasurer W.A. Julian and Secretary Henry Morgenthau Jr. (1935 A), Treasurer W.A. Julian and Secretary John W. Snyder (1935 C), and Treasurer Georgia Neese Clark and Secretary John W. Snyder (1935 D). Serial numbers are Q48609798C, J92431932E, W46416666E, and E70352519F. These certificates were redeemable for silver bullion or coin until 1968.
