German Saltglaze Stoneware Cobalt Blue-Decorated 'Blind Pig'/ Footed Keg, Probably Westerwald, 19th Century. Of barrel form with wide mouth at the top and on four conical feet, painted with two berried vines on each side with one vine flanked by a row of horizontal rectangles, one enclosing an "eye," cork-filled bung hole to the flat end and painted with trellis diaperwork, the rounded end with a curled flower stem.H: 8.75 in., W: 11.625 in., Diam: 8.125 in.
