Of rectangular form with notched canted corners, painted in underglaze-blue with a view of a fenced garden enclosing a large curious rock, peony stem and pine tree, a crane standing atop the rock observing a crane in flight, surrounded by a double scroll and berry border, the rim with cell diaper and hexagonal trellis diaperwork shaped panels edged with floral stems and leaves, within a brown dressed edge.L: 14.875 in., W: 11.75 in., D: 1.625 in.Provenance: H.
