Painted panel depicting scenes from the life of the Buddha in multicolored pigment on cotton, bordered by silk brocade fabrics in navy, burgundy and gold, the panel unlined, with coating verso, and the borders with a red cotton lining, and with red silk ties

Condition
Overall good condition with dust accumulation and light wear commensurate with age and use. Scattered creasing to canvas from rolling, with a few minor splits and attendant minor pigment loss/flaking. Scattered faint staining in areas, especially corners and edges. With dowels top and bottom, and added orange silk cover and silk fabric ties.
