  • Description:Antique 14kt Filigree Bird Diamond Sapphire Brooch, 1920's-1930's. C-clasp with lock where it is marked 14kt and signed with an infinity or no. 8 mark on the front of the c-clasp. Weight of the brooch is appx. 3.13 gr. This is a filigree rectangular design that is appx. 1.75" by 1/2". It has a bird sitting on the filigree on the left of the brooch and the bird is sittingon a branche - to the right - on top is a diamond that is appx. 1.5mm round set in a milgrain square frame slightly raised on the filigree setting of the brooch with a square blur sapphire set on the bottom of the frame beneath the diamond. The sapphire is appx. 1.9mm. The sapphire is estimated at .03 ctw and the iamond is estimated at .01 ctw. The brooch is in very good condition - the only thing not making it perfect is the pin back itself is not perfectly straight - the lock holds it perfect and works as it should and the front of the brooch is in very good condition. It is just the pin of the pinback that is not perfectly straight as it would be new. (W12222.13X2 SS7509 J LD 3/5/22/).
