
**Remington Model 03-A3 Rifle
.30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 3392630. Parkerized meal finish with stamped triggerguard and small parts mounting adjustable aperture rear and fully hooded front blade sights. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips. Standard markings include U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3 to receiver, with barrel date reading RA/{Ordnance Bomb}/1-43, indicating the barrel was made in January of 1943. C stock has been sanded with right butt numbered 8762. Stock shows a splice to right receiver. Mounts a leather cheek pad marked MRT/2 52, the same pattern used on M1C and M1D Garands. {C&R}

Condition
Good. Bore is dirty with some firing residues and blue green oxidation that should clean to Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish thinning on upper barrel band and muzzle, with a patch of brown patina forming on barrel band. Some rust and pitting on buttplate. Stock has a spliced repair to right side of receiver, and shows scattered handling dents, mars, and stains. Stock discolored below cheek pad. Front sight blade sits high in the shroud, and may need adjustment.
