.38 Colt. 4" barrel length. SN: 95455. Blued metal finish with polished hammer flanks mounting checkered hardrubber grips with COLT logos and C initial surrounding grip screw escutcheons. Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver with fixed half moon front blade and topstrap rear notch sights. Marks include the {Rampant Colt} logo to left sideplate and model mark reading COLT POLICEC/POSITIVE .38 to left barrel. Two-line address and barrel marking to upper barrel. Item features a VP monogram proof mark on the left triggerguard.

Condition
Fair to Good. Bore is lined with grease that may clean to Bright or better with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows a continuous turn ring on the cylinder with a rough brown patina on the left frame and barrel, the latter partly covering the model marking. Further scattered brown flecking overall, and a continuous brown patina forming over the gripstraps. Grips retain crisp edges with some light scratches. Action exhibits good timing.
