World War II
.45 ACP. 5" barrel length. SN: 1360773. Blued metal refinish overall mounting checkered Keyes fiber grips and military pattern sights. Short recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide struck in two lines REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A. with the right frame marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY followed by M1911 A1 U.S. ARMY. Left frame shows the FJA inspector initials of Frank J. Atwood. Further marks include H initial to right triggerguard, P to left frame and upper slide, and 5 to left triggerguard. Comes with a SEARS marked Model 1917 leather 1911 holster with US embossed flap. Magazine is reblued to match the pistol and is unmarked. {C&R}

Condition
Good as Refinished. Bore is Frosty with some patina forming in the grooves, and residues throughout. Metal finish shows internal cycling wear to the blue, light disassembly scratch to the left frame, and some scattered flecking to gripstrap and forward slide. Grips show some handling wear with some scratches and few nicks to right panel.
