.32-40. 21.5" barrel length. SN: 465249. Case hardened receiver with blued barrel mounting wood straight stock and forend with semi buckhorn rear and front blade sight. Lever action repeating rifle fed by tubular magazine. Standard model markings on left barrel reading MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED AUGUST 21, 1894. Tang marked MODEL 1894/WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK REG.IN U.S. PAT. OFF. Barrel marked 32-40 on left near receiver. {C&R}

Good. Bore is frosty. Gray patina over receiver and barrel. Lever shows cycling wear. Stock and forend show use wear and light marks. Action is rough, possibly due to old lubricant.
