
**Springfield Model 1903 Mark I Custom with Sedgley Barrel and Redfield Sights
.30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 1095291. Blued metal finish mounting walnut Monte-Carlo style stock with White Line recoil pad, and front and rear sling loops. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating custom rifle built on a Springfield Model 1903 Mark I rifle showing the ejection port for Pedersen Device. Sights consist of a Redfield Olympic rear aperture and a front bead mounted on a custom matted front ramp. Barrel shows the circled S mark for Sedgley. Magazine Cutoff has been cut down to clear the windage knob for the rear sight, with the gripping serrations re cut by the gunsmith. Turned down bolt features custom knurling, and the bolt body itself is jeweled. Original receiver markings read U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903./MARK I. {C&R}

Condition
Very Good. Bore is dirty with some firing residues that should clean to Very Bright or better with crisp rifling throughout. Item show some grease residues to the barrel and some scattered brown patinated spots. Receiver reblue has some scratches, abrasions, and brown flecking. Jeweled bolt with some operating wear and scratches. Stock has few light handling dents.
