
**Zimmerstutzen Parlor Rifle
4mm caliber. 27.5" octagonal barrel length. SN: NSN. Parlor rifle with a Stiegele loading system to front of barrel. Blued metal finish overall with gold accents to top of barrel. Walnut stock has checkering to straight grip and a plain forearm. Buttstock has an exaggerated cheekpiece, thumbrest, and high comb. Item features double set triggers, as well as a rear aperture sight and ramped blade front sight. Also featured is a European-style serpentine triggerguard lever and sling swivels to mid-barrel and edge of toe. Markings include obscured gold accent marks to top of barrel, and "J. HUMMEL" marked to upper tang. {C&R}

Condition
Good to very good. Bore is frosty with some residue to rifling. Finish has sprinkled pitting and surface oxidation overall. Wood stock has some scattered light scratching and dings. Item has a repair made to thumbrest where a clean break can be seen.
