**CMP Quality Hardware M1 Carbine in Box

.30 Carbine. 18" barrel length. SN: 4764391. Parkerized metal finish in walnut low-wood semi pistol grip stock with two-rivet handguard mounting late pattern adjustable rear aperture and front blade sights with protectors. Short stroke piston driven gas operated semi-automatic rifle fed by detachable double stack magazines. Receiver shows standard model markings and QUALITY H.M.C. marking with a barrel date reading INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/12-43. Stock has been sanded and shows now extant P marking. It has been struck with rack number 368 in the wood in four locations. Comes in original CMP box with owner's manual and CMP Certificate of Authenticity. Lacks magazine. {C&R}

Good. Bore is Bright with strong rifling throughout. Metal finish shows a primarily brown patina with some weakness to markings and Parkerized finish with oil residues near seams. Stock has been sanded and shows handling dents, mars, and stains. Some chips to the edges. Muzzle reading between 1 and 2. Throat reading of 0.
