.30 Carbine. 18" barrel length. SN: 5692311. Parkerized metal finish in walnut low wood semi-pistol grip stock mounting two-rivet handguard, bayonet lug, and adjustable rear aperture and front blade sights. Short stroke piston driven gas operated semi-automatic rifle fed by detachable double stack magazines. Shows standard model marks with WINCHESTER maker mark to rear receiver. Barrel struck with W maker mark forward of handguard. Punch dot pressure proof to rear receiver and to dished bolt. Stock is without circle P, and shows Ordnance {Crossed Cannons} stamp to right butt. An IO mark is visible in the stock cut for sling and oiler. Barrel band displays MMO maker mark. Lacks magazine. Item comes with a bill of sale from the Red River Army Depot dated September, 1951 indicating sale through the NRA Civilian Marksmanship Program. Comes with box. {C&R}

Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish displays some light internal cycling wear, oil residue and scattered light scratches. Stock with some light handling dents. Box shows assorted scuffs, some flaking to label, and stains.
