12 Gauge. 28" and 18.5" barrel lengths. SN: 183461. 2.75" chamber lengths. Full Left; Modified Right to 28" barrels. Cylinder to short. Blued metal finish with casehardened frame mounting walnut semi-pistol grip stock with bordered checkering to wrist and splinter forend. Double barrel boxlock extractor shotgun with tang safety. Item shows light waterfowl scenes to each frame flank. Markings include LEFEVER NITRO SPECIAL and LEFEVER ARMS CO. ITHACA. N.Y. to both barrel sets. Comes with green velvet lined and leather wrapped travel case. {C&R}

Condition
Good. Bores are Bright with dent to right barrel and small dent to left, both at mid length with long barrels. Short bores with some scattered brown patina. Metal finish to frame with weak engraving, some case colors extant on internal components, and a pale brown patina dominating. Barrels with thin blue, brown patina forming overall, and some scratches. Short barrels with mottled oxidation. Long barrels show oxidation at muzzles. Wood displays handling wear and dents, and a crack forming along right edge of rear tang. Upper and lower edges of barrels disintegrating. 28" barrels lock up tight with lever right of center. Short barrels lock up tight with lever resting right of center, but left edge of left barrel fits proud of the fence.
