TEKKE TURKMEN WOOL RUG

Description

A Tekke Turkmen wool rug originating from the Turkmen tribes of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Iran, circa early 20th century. This rug has an exceptionally long fringe, repeating geometric medallions, and deep red and black coloring. The rug measures 80" L x 44" W.

Condition

The rug is missing some of the long fringe on the edges. The other portions of the rug and the pile are in good overall condition.
