Eureka Floating Bicycle

Description

Floating Bicycle by the Eureka Novelty Company, 1440 Broadway (NY). Welded steel frame supports a seat and two 12-in. diameter red painted airtight drums. Front with wooden steering handles and blue painted rudder below with applied maker's plaque stating Eureka Floating Bicycle, Pat. May 1, 1917, Mfd. by Eureka Novelty Company, 1440 Broadway, New York, No. 34, wooden pedals with canvas foot straps and geared axle to a three bladed propeller powers the vessel. New York, c. 1920.
